Honeybees for sale in the Llanelli, Carmarthenshire area of South Wales, a few strong colonies of my very own gentle 'Welsh Bees', reared locally in my own Apiary.

Welfare of Honeybees - Honeybees are considered to be livestock and as such have to be looked after in order to keep them healthy and happy. Neglect will inevitably lead to overcrowding, risk of disease and swarming.

I do not normally deliver and install bees.
They will be ready to collect early Spring next year (2025), depending on the weather of course. I will keep you updated. If you are interested in purchasing and wish to reserve a colony, please get in touch. A deposit of £20 will be required please. Thank you.

ALL Queens will be marked with colour of year Blue (2025 colour) and NONE are clipped! These are NOT Swarms - raised from my own stock in 2025 and are healthy and disease free. They will have been carefully raised and well looked after.

They have NOT been treated with any chemicals.

Varroa - I have not treated any of my Honeybees against the Varroa mite for 10 plus years. The aim has always been to let the bees soft things out thenselves!

If you live locally in the Llanelli area, and are just starting this wonderful hobby of Beekeeping, I will deliver and install the Nuke of bees for you into your own bee hive!

Welsh Honeybee colonies locally reared from home stock. Not Swarms - Disease free, marked, mated and laying Queens (unclipped) which are hardy and used to the local weather. Happy and healthy calm bees of good temperament, so ideal especially for beginners. I have kept Bees since 1988 so have a wealth of experience and am self-taught.
I take a lot of pride in my Beekeeping.

I will ensure that the Bees you purchase are Queen right with brood in all stages. I do not use any chemicals on my bees or in the garden. I firmly believe that my bees know what's good for them; they have good housekeeping qualities and source out and collect their own natural healing Nectars and Pollen. After all, they have been here a very long time before us Humans came along!

I have included a few photos of myself on this website in order to demonstrate the temperament of my bees. They require very little, if any Smoking!

Description - You are buying 6 frames of Bees on standard NATIONAL frames in various stages of breeding complete with stores. Bring along your own Nuc and they will be transfered before collection.

Each colony will contain a laying marked locally produced Queen (NOT CLIPPED) with workers, eggs, sealed brood and food.

Payment details: Cost: £200 per colony (Bring your own Nuc)
A £20 deposit secures each colony. Payment: please pay both deposit and final payment by BACS before collection. Bank details supplied on application.

Pick up only from my home address or delivered and installed if you are a novice and live locally.

NOTE: Please be aware that the deposit is NOT refundable unless of course I fail to supply you with bees!
